Frequently Asked Questions
How can we help you?
How do I make an appointment?
If you would like to make an appointment with one of our practitioners, please contact our reception staff at 0219006090. Alternatively you may book your appointments online. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and choice of practitioner
How do I transfer my records to another provider?
You can phone our reception at 0219006090 or alternatively send an email request to info@saendovascular.com . Please provide the contact details of your practitioner for a more streamlined service. Please note: Although we will make every effort to provide your doctor with a copy of your records, we are extremely busy and receive high volumes of requests. As a result it may take 10 to 14 working days before reports are available. Thank you for understanding.
How do I renew my script?
Your chronic script has expired before your next appointment you can contact one of our Clinical or Research sisters to request a repeat script (existing patients ONLY). We do charge a nominal fee for this service. Unfortunately, we cannot repeat scripts if you have not had an appointment with us in the past 12 months. P.S. It helps us to speed up this service if you have a copy or photo of your script available!
Can I ask for a motivation to a medical aid?
We can motivate on your behalf for certain cardiovascular medication or medication that we have prescribed. We do charge a small nominal fee for this service. Pensioners are exempt from this fee. Unfortunately we cannot motivate for medications that fall out of our scope of practice such as medications for asthma and COPD. NB: Most medical aids DO NOT cover the following medications and we are not able to motivate for them. You are welcome to address this with the relevant medical specialist or contact your scheme directly. We thank you for understanding.
- Anti-depressants and sedatives such as Alzam and Brazepam.
- Sleeping tablets.
- Antacids.
- Pain medication.
- Medication for conditions of the bladder, prostate, and urinary tracts.
- Medication for epilepsy or dementia.
I need an insurance evaluation, report for my insurance company, unemployment benefit or certificate for travel. How can I obtain that?
We offer a service for life and other insurance coverage evaluations as well as cardiac work evaluations. Please phone and make an appointment for a full evaluation. A nominal fee is charged for completion of these forms. Requests for known patients can be emailed to admin@saendovascular.com . A certificate for travel purposes can also be issued for known patients. Please note these reports take time to complete and may require 10 to 14 working days depending on how great the load on our system is. We do strive to complete them as soon as our workload permits. Please request them timeously in order to not miss any deadlines.
